Projects I have worked on
TESCO - SUPPLY CHAIN TECHNOLOGY
As a Software Development Manager, I am overseeing the development of a platform to manage E2E Supply Chain efficiently to ensure better availability for our customers while optimizing the cost to serve.
The platform enables Tesco colleagues to plan supply, execute plans in collaboration with suppliers, and visualize, simulate and optimise flow of goods and data E2E to reduce risk and cost.
Atlassian - Data Portability
In my capacity as the Engineering Manager for the Data Portability organization, my primary responsibility revolves around overseeing a charter that empowers customers to manage their cloud presence for Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence. Within this role, I am accountable for the complete lifecycle of the product, encompassing design, development, and maintenance. Our product is designed to facilitate data movement for various scenarios, including merging, splitting, and transferring cloud instances. Collaborating extensively with stakeholders, partners, and cross-functional teams across different global locations is an integral part of my role to ensure alignment and uphold quality standards.
Amazon - Seller Registration
As an engineering manager at Amazon, I oversaw the Seller Registration and Verification team. This team was responsible for gathering necessary information and documents from sellers to establish their online identity. Additionally, the team handled processes related to enabling/disabling financial disbursals and product listings based on investigation outcomes. I also managed the team responsible for supporting a service that processed a high volume of transactions, handling up to 22,000 transactions per second.
Khoros
I led multiple Scrum teams for the Atlas product (formerly Khoros Community). These teams were responsible for various aspects, including the Community Notification Service (Email, Push Notifications, RealTime Notifications), Community MobileSDK, CRM integration, OAuth2-based Authentication services, Customization framework, and API Gateway.
Additionally, I oversaw the creation of the Lithium Community SDK, which brings the Community experience to mobile apps, enabling developers to build native Community experiences in apps like Samsung S+ and Infogain Live.
My specific responsibilities included:
Developing the highly customizable Community Android SDK, allowing customers to tailor the native Community experience within their Android app.
Creating necessary REST services on the Community backend to support the mobile SDK.
Establishing a Mobile Push Notification Service for delivering notifications to mobile devices.
Collaborating with the Product Manager to define requirements.
Working closely with the Documentation team on materials like Getting Started guides and API documentation.
Acting as Scrum master, overseeing sprint execution and task assignment within the team.
Releasing libraries to public GitHub repositories and publishing them to JCenter for wider availability.
Altisource Labs
A Marketing Analytics Software product created to unveil the impact of customer experiences on business results. It simplifies the understanding of vast amounts of unstructured customer data. Key responsibilities include leading the backend development team for the Analytics UI, crafting backend REST/Websocket services for UI consumption, managing continuous integration, deployment, and version control strategies, configuring the application, collaborating with architects for application design, and implementing Proof of Concepts using new technologies to enhance the product.
